Disposable Bags Are A Waste

Do what you can to help the people of Seattle overcome the opposition and APPROVE Referendum 1.

Dear American Plastics Council:

We, the undersigned, are calling you to stop standing in the way of the people of Seattle encouraging the reduction of waste into our city and our Sound by placing a small 20-cent fee on plastic bags.

The state of Washington uses hundreds of millions of single-use bags, and it's unacceptable for you to put your short-term profits ahead of sensible waste management.
